A bit about me...

A corporate job with lots of sitting… in meetings and in the car, lead to a severe bad back. Yoga was a huge help with recovery and has continued to keep back pain at a minimum. It also had the side effects of better sleep, improved flexibility and reduced effects of stress. Passing this practice on to others seemed a good idea! I’ve been teaching since 2015.

My yoga is rooted in the styles of Hatha, Iengar and flow yoga. A calm movement with the breath, releasing the muscles, holding the poses to move more deeply to stretch and turning the focus inwards. Lots of options in my classes allow people to adapt their yoga to suit
them on the day.

Yoga makes space in my body and my mind. It helps me stay calm and to relax more quickly after times of pressure. I find Yoga Nidra is great for a sense of calm, deep rest and grounding.

Yoga reaches way beyond my mat and has changed me, I think, for the better.

I am a huge Indian block printing fan, I love upcycling clothes using the printing blocks, I’m a charity shop clothes shopper and a keen cook.

I spend a lot of time outside, love our garden and particularly the flowers. I love wildlife, open spaces and the Cotswold Lakes where I live. A fair-weather cold-water swimmer, casual mountain biker, daily walker,I follow the moon cycles to set intentions and follow them through, sometimes they get kicked forward but that’s life!
